The Canine & Feline Sector Group (CFSG) has produced extensive guidelines regarding the safe handling of dogs during the Covid-19 outbreak.

We aim to provide you with a high quality service, but one that is strictly based on the safest handling procedures. This is why as a business we are fully operational but also fully compliant with the latest government and scientific thinking, so you can have peace of mind when using Paws Fur Fun.

We operate from a brand new dedicated studio, purpose built in 2020 to incorporate state of the art equipment, including a lifting table that can accomodate dogs up to 100 kg’s and a bath that works on hydraulics tailored for safe handling. 

Paws Fur Fun has now adopted stringent handling procedures to reflect UK Government guidelines on Covid-19; these are designed to provide safety, reassurance and peace of mind for all.

1) Upon Arrival you will be directed to a designated safe handover zone, here you will be able to leave your dog and therefore maintain the minimum 2-metre safe social distancing at all times 

2) Once you have left the handover area we will collect your dog and then take them directly to the studio 

3) We will use our own dog lead for the short journey to the studio.

4) Once inside Dog friendly wipes will first be used in accordance with guidelines 

5) Wearing our PPE, grooming and any other additional booked treatments will then be undertaken 

6) We will call you as soon as your dog is available for collection 

7) Upon arrival for collection we will place your dog back into the designated safe handover zone and withdraw from this area, again this will allow you to be reassured of social distancing
